Earth was suddenly bombarded with a foreign object from space that fell in the area of waters in various parts of the world. Initially, NASA even suspected the object was a meteor. But it turns out that object is a spaceship that contains thousands of evil aliens that will invade the earth. The whole world into panic, when the victims began to fall and major cities around the world shattered.

Setting the film begins with the background of the city of Los Angeles, with military forces inside the base near Los Angeles began to plan an evacuation missions against civilians remaining in the city. One of these forces is Michael Nantz (Aaron Eckhart), U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant who was about to retire, but the situation forced him to re-join the military forces with a very dangerous mission, to save civilian lives as much as possible while keeping the city facing an alien invasion of unknown strength.

Battle: Los Angeles itself was in large sieve as a therapeutic film disappointment, a rival version from Columbia Pictures of the Skyline which could make a scene late last year because of 'success' to make almost all the spectators of the world simultaneously berate frowned and made a sci-fi Strause Brothers were due to be assessed to present a film 'rubbish'. But unfortunately what happens then apparently did not end up as expectations of most people, because the fact Battle: Los Angeles also is not a film that was too special, not a few viewers and critics label him a respectable world a bad film, even to the point that there is which says that the film director from South Africa, Jonathan Liebesman makes Skyline looks better.

But for me personally at least the Battle: Los Angeles is a dish that is very exciting and entertaining, definitely better than Skyline.
