2011 - The Eagle

The Eagle begins with the story of the Roman troops of the 2nd BC who had never defeated except in a war in the mountains of Scotland. Roman troops called the Ninth Legion was when there was war in the mountains of Scotland lost without a trace, accompanied by the loss of a golden eagle statue is a Roman symbol of national pride. Setting the film then moves back in time 20 years later, in which the arcus Aquila (Channing Tatum), son of the Ninth Legion leaders who have a huge obsession to find the golden eagle statue and restore the good name of the family who is considered an embarrassment and as a form of responsibility for the defeat of the troops them. For the sake of these goals, Marcus to travel to where a tribe in the interior of which he expected to save the golden eagle statue. Regardless of his uncle's advice, Aquila (Donald Sutherland) to dissuade it, Marcus still leave the company of Esca (Jamie Bell), his slave.
