The film begins with the story of Charly Mattei (Jean Reno) who decided to quit from members of the Mafia Marseille and choose to better take care of his family. In the first few years since he retired, peaceful life, Mattei can spend more time with her family and playing with his son. Until arriving on a day when he visited "the executioner" mask that suddenly shot, and left Mattei in a state of dying with a 22 grain bullet lodged in his body.
"The executioner" has succeeded in crippling Mattei, but the unexpected is the fact that Mattei was still alive. Mattei is now in hospital undergoing surgery and taking bullets from his body. Aware that his family is still in danger, Mattei plans to take revenge against him hunt down the perpetrators of the shooting.
