He’s ruggedly handsome, he’s talented and he’s funny too!  If you didn’t know Bradley Cooper before the hit movie, The Hangover, you definitely took notice afterwards!
Born January 5, 1975 in Philadelphia, PA, Cooper didn’t start acting until after graduating college.  He attended Villanova for his freshman year and then transferred to Georgetown University where he graduated with a B.A. in English in 1997.  Following graduation, he enrolled in the Masters of Fine Arts program at the Actors Studio Drama School at The New School University and moved to NYC.  While at the New School, Cooper began his professional career by appearing as one of Carrie’s love interests in Sex and the City in 1998 and in the series, The Beat, in 2000.  Weekends were spent working with LEAP (Learning through the Expanded Arts Program), a non-profit organization that teaches acting and movement to inner city school children.
In the summer of 2000, Cooper could be found traipsing across the globe, from kayaking in British Columbia with Orca Whales to ice climbing in the Peruvian Andes, while hosting Lonely Planet’s Treks in a Wild WorldWet Hot American Summer in 2001.  In 2002, he wrapped up his second feature Carnival KnowledgeAlias. His character, Will Tippin, got off to a rocky start with the fans, but the charming Cooper eventually won them over. After season two (2003) he left the show but returned as a guest star during the third.  Cooper went on to star in a few other short lived shows such as Touching Evil, Miss Match and Kitchen Confidential. for the Discovery Channel. He even skipped his graduation from the Actor’s Studio to star in his first feature film, and had plans to move out to Los Angeles but those plans were put on hold when he was hired by Darren Star to star in the series The $treet.  Unfortunately the show, which aired on FOX, only lasted for six episodes. Cooper finally made the move out west when he was cast in the ABC series
In addition to his work on the small screen, Cooper has appeared in numerous big screen hits such as The Wedding Crashers, He’s Just Not That Into You, The Hangover ,& Valentine’s Day, to name a few. In March 2006, he appeared on Broadway with Julia Roberts and Paul Rudd in Three Days of Rain.  Beginning tomorrow, Cooper can be seen on the big screen in the live action remake of the popular 80’s hit show, The A-Team, in the role of Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, a role originated by Dirk Benedict.
On a personal front, Cooper has kept a low profile; his short lived marriage to fellow actress Jennifer Esposito ended in 2007, and has been reported to have only lasted four months with neither side commenting on why the relationship dissolved. While he is currently dating actress Renee Zellweger since 2009, the public has never really heard much about his private life, an amazing feat for a celebrity to do, keep their private life just that, private!
No longer a “scene stealer”, this leading actor is in demand, and from the looks of his red hot career, he’s here to stay.
